When traveling to the island state of Hawaii, there are already about a thousand things to do. From booking hotels, finding a rental car, securing your travel tickets and event passes, and exploring the islands, a vacation can turn overwhelming in the blink of an eye. With so much to do, it can begin to feel like work. 

Abby Hagen, the owner and founder of Aloha Dreams Photography, wants to take a portion of that burden and alleviate some of the troubles that tourists encounter while traveling in Hawaii. Having been a professional photographer for just shy of a decade, Abby and her team with Aloha Dreams puts a huge emphasis on the experience of each client, making sure that the process is fun, energetic, and relaxed–exactly what one would hope for while on vacation.

Based out of Oahu, Hawaii, Aloha Dreams offers a one-hour photoshoot session on various beautiful beaches on the island. The company then delivers 60-70 edited and high-resolution images to the clients, through an online gallery that they are then able to freely download. Abby and the other photographers with Aoha Dreams also work with drones to take stunning and unique aerial photos. 

Instead of having to go through emails, make various phone calls, fill out form after form etc, the clients can simply put a deposit down to secure their location, date, and time of photoshoot. Abby mentions that the photographers always give clients the option to discuss further if they have more questions over the phone or email. Aloha Dreams has figured out how to streamline the booking process to make it as easy as possible for the clients, taking a little bit of stress out of their holiday. 

“I'm not the kind of photographer who tells my clients to just ‘go stand there and smile’ for every photo,” Hagen says while explaining her style. “I do capture portraits of them smiling towards the camera, but I also give them actions to make the whole process fun and capture natural, candid moments.”

In addition to providing high-quality photos of vacations, Aloha Dreams Photography also specializes in engagements, proposals, anniversaries, honeymoon portraits, and elopements. The company provides quality photography services all across Hawaii, including Oahu, Kailua, Lanikai, Kaneohe, Honolulu, North Shore, and Waikiki. They also boast a rare turnaround time of 7 days, whereas a typical photographer could take weeks, or even months. 

“Our goal is to make everyone feel confident, have fun, and create lifetime memories,” Abby expresses.
