With 7 years in the industry as a professional photographer, Abby takes pride in her work, knowing that she puts effort into this passion, turned entrepreneurial venture. 

“My company is different from traditional tourist photography businesses,” she explains. “We are unique because I like to emphasize that the experience my clients will have is fun, energetic, and relaxed.” Aloha Dreams Photography wants to capture the moment, giving their clients something beautiful to have as a souvenir from their adventures. With her experience as a professional photographer, Abby brings a luxury to this craft that isn’t found in the money-grabbing, tourist industry. Her personality and specialized passion makes her feel like a member of the party, rather than a body behind a camera. 

This is especially evident in the way that Abby books her clients. Instead of being a faceless organization, making clients fill out several forms and schedule through numerous emails, Aloha Dreams simply needs a deposit, time, and location. It’s that simple. From there, the photographers are able to interact with their clients as much or as little as the client wants over email or by phone. Additionally, Abby has a hard deadline of a 7 day turnaround time, which is unusually for her craft. Most photographers can take weeks or even months before returning the final product to clients, but at Aloha Dreams, it takes a fraction of that time. 

“I worked for years to streamline the booking process and to make it as easy as possible for my clients,” Abby says. “After a few years in the business, I realized that many of my bookings come from tourists from mainland America, vacationing in Hawaii.” She goes on to express that these travelers already have enough bookings to worry about (hotels, rental cars, excursions, plane tickets, etc.) So to try and stand out in the business, as well as to make people’s lives just a little easier, Abby and the rest of the dedicated team with Aloha Dreams make the process as minimal as possible. 

Aloha Dream Photography delivers each client 60-70 edited and high-resolution photos that are featured through an online gallery that the client can then freely download. The process aims to be as simple as possible, minimizing extra stress for the clients. Aloha Dreams also provides stunning drone shots, which add a little something extra to a traditional photoshoot.
