With the new year coming into full swing and January nearing its end, Aloha Dreams Photography is seeing its busiest month to date, with back to back bookings, every single day. Located in Oahu, Hawaii, the company is experiencing sudden, and rapid growth. This is to be expected, however, as Aloha Dreams is actively playing a role in some of the most memorable and unforgettable experiences of tourists in Hawaii. 

Hawaii is renowned for its beautiful landscape. From its stunning beaches, lush rainforests, and majestic mountains, Hawaii's natural beauty is like no other. The tropical climate and crystal clear waters provide the perfect backdrop for a variety of outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking, and snorkeling. Whether you're relaxing on the beach or exploring the islands, Hawaii's gorgeous landscape is sure to captivate and inspire you. 

With all that in mind, Abby Hagen, Founder of Aloha Dreams Photography is using that backdrop to capture some of life's greatest moments for her clients. This past month alone stands out to have been jam packed full of clients booking her services, as the winter in mainland America tends to drive tourists and travelers to the warmer, island climate.

When asked how she and her team are set apart from other photography companies based in Hawaii, Hagen explains that there are several things that make her business unique.

“I specialize in making the client feel very confident, have a blast, and create those lifetime memories,” Abby starts. She expresses that she tries actively to make her clients have fun, rather than just smile at a camera in their face. The point, shoot, and deliver method is not her style. “I'm not the type of photographer who tells my clients to just ‘go stand there and smile’ for every photo. Of course, I will still capture portraits of them smiling towards the camera, but I also give them actions to do to make the whole process more fun and capture natural, candid moments.” 

“My editing style for photography is also unique because it's colorful and draws out Hawaii's tropical and bright colors,” Abby goes on to explain, speaking on the landscape. The islands of Hawaii are known for their vibrant and colorful landscape, which makes an excellent background for well lit and visually stunning photos. The Hawaiian Islands are filled with lush, tropical plants and flowers and are known for their bright and cheerful pigments. From the turquoise waters of the Pacific Ocean to the bright pink hibiscus and royal blue jacaranda flowers, Hawaii is a paradise full of eye-catching colors. The bright yellows and oranges of the tropical fish against the deep blues of the ocean is a sight to behold. The green of the palm trees and the vibrant reds of the volcanic rock are just a few of the many hues that make up the beautiful landscape of Hawaii. 

“Because I've tapped into this market, I've already seen a lot of success! Especially this past month in January, which has been my busiest month” Aloha Dreams Photography has a small team of photographers currently and is only expecting to see continued growth throughout 2023.
