Phoenix is now home to a larger staff from Regal Capital Solutions, a firm that helps both large and small businesses with the Employee Retention Tax Credit. The firm was founded by Chief Executive Officer Garet Brown and Chief Revenue Officer Jonah Cooper with the goal of assisting businesses of all sizes in optimizing their employee tax returns via the use of a network of ERC professionals and legal and accounting partnerships. By adding more people to the team, Regal Capital Solutions hopes to increase the number of companies that are able to qualify for and take advantage of ERC refund chances.

CEO Jonah Cooper adds, "ERC pays firms back each W2 employee, so there's no better time to apply for one." He mentions the recent passage of the CARES legislation, which legalized ERC, in an effort to encourage companies to keep employees on the payroll in the face of COVID-19 economic hardship. 

According to Cooper, "ERC is a complex procedure with approximately 20,000 requirements. We handle determining whether firms are eligible and helping them through the entire ERC procedure.” He notes that some of the requirements include having less than 500 workers, operating in the private sector or as a tax-exempt organization, and experiencing a drop in gross revenues and/or a complete or partial closure of operations owing to a government order relating to COVID in 2020 or 2021. Cooper observes that these issues "may be a bit tough and time-consuming for firms to work out on their own.”

Brown elaborates, saying that the advantages of ERC may be fairly substantial, with firms occasionally earning as much as $26,000 per W2 Employee. Brown says, "We are associated with some of the top legal and accounting firms in the nation to give greater levels of compliance, client assistance, claim maximizing, and audit assurance." 

"And our approach is very simple; we start by offering them a free consultation call with one of our ERC certification specialists, which includes a fast questionnaire to assess qualification potential." Then, Regal Capital Solutions assists with paperwork collection and verification. "Finally, ERCs are filed with the IRS, and clients get quarterly payments from the United States Treasury," Brown continues.
