Mumbai, India–

iWebTechno, a technology company, is preparing to launch a personalized student marketplace for schools, colleges, and universities worldwide.

The Mumbai-based, Vertical SaaS startup currently connects universities, students, banks, and service partners and has a history of providing free, seamless digitization for underserved universities. One of the three companies in the world to help in this way, iWebTechno utilizes its IUMS® (Integrated University Management System) to extend digitization modules for academic and non-academic sectors of a university.

Now, using iWeb's Integrated University Management System (iUMS), the company is preparing to launch a hyper-personalizable student marketplace that will allow students at universities, schools, and colleges to receive individualized offers and discounts for their needs.

“iWebTechno will be one of the first student marketplaces to offer personalized deals and advertisements based on such goals and needs of individual students,” claims Nasnodkar, co-founding advisor of the company.

The Product Management leader has previous experience spanning AI, ML, NLU, Communications Protocols, and front-end and back-end systems. Nasnodkar has worked with market-leading companies, built highly effective teams, launched multiple products used worldwide, and has been invited to speak at several product management events.

iWebTechno currently serves 750,000 Students at 650 colleges. Over the next year, they are projected to help more than 1500 colleges and 2,000,000 students. Additionally, the tech company is raising funding to scale beyond those projected numbers and plans to expand over the next two years. The expansion areas will likely be additional Asian markets, including Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, as well as North and South American Markets.

The product leader claims that, lately, iWebTechno has been busy with the successful launch of their iUMS Lite, meant for small educational institutes that do not require the complications of the entire iUMS. As iWebTechno transitions from this into its student marketplace efforts, Nasnodkar is a  non-executive advisor on the company’s next steps, with many ideas on enhancing the upcoming, tailored marketplace.

He says the company plans for the deals to use specific information, such as student scores, data, and demographics, to know what students are looking for. The service will be designed to initiate localized deals and map students with local student discounts, which will apply to tutoring, textbooks, and whatever else the student requires. For example, students needing help in math studies will receive math deals, and students who play college sports will receive sportswear discounts. All of the offers will be found in the student’s geographical area, staying true to its highly-personalized mission.

On top of the data they collect, the company is also in the works on an AI that will find students contextual, intelligent deals on their marketplace and build a discovery platform.

Regarding product success, Nasnodkar believes, “If you launch a successful product without trying enough, you can do a lot better. Good products are built by knowing your customers. Great products are built by knowing your customers better than they do.”
