“I fly to visit each and every practice and make sure I’m there in person to get a sense of
what truly needs work,” says Dr. Apfelblat. The doctor is pleased to have the opportunity to learn
about and dive deep into so many types of private practices. “When it comes to changing the
systems and operations in place, I like to already know everything about the practice, almost as
if I ran it myself,” says Dr. Apfelblat. Then, once she has a full sense of the systems, she works
on turning it into a money-making business.
“There are a broad range of issues that practices need help resolving. It depends,” says
the doctor, “Whether the practice has an in-house problem with staffing or is spending too much
time and resources on things that don’t create life-long patients and increase profitability, I find
what’s not working and implement protocols and systems that will.”
Often, clients that Moguls by Amanda works with encounter change. “We believe change
is the road to success. Getting comfortable with being uncomfortable,” says Dr. Apfelblat. “We
wish to help clients do so through implementing goals for their practice.” Sometimes, holds the
doctor, practices might face significant changes that will ultimately benefit their practice but
aren’t what the practice is used to.
“This is why we take such a hand-holding approach,” says Dr. Apfelblat. Moguls by
Amanda does not let go until clients reach the level of success that they know they are capable
of. “We guide them through the entire process of scaling their business until the practice runs so
smoothly they don’t need us anymore,” Dr. Apfelblat adds.
“We are picky about the clients we take,” Dr. Apfelblat claims, “Only because we have such big
visions for them, we want to make sure theirs are equally as large and bold.” The company does
not take on doctors who do not want to scale, live a more fulfilled and stress-free life, and make
huge changes to do so.

Dr. Apfelblat remembers what it’s like to be a rising practice. “I try to be what I needed when I
was just starting out,” she says, “Someone who would walk me through it, each step of the way,
and encourage me to reach levels beyond what I thought was possible.” Now, Moguls by
Amanda not only hopes to inspire more private practices to reach new heights but hopes to take
