With the technology world constantly evolving, the top five names in the tech industry for 2023 are already starting to emerge. Each of these technologies offers a unique way to improve the way we interact with the world and with each other, and they all have the potential to revolutionize the way we live, work, and play. As we look forward to 2023, here are the 5 names to keep an eye on throughout the year. 

1. Rakesh Khanna

As a renowned visionary leader and engineer, Khanna is currently the CEO of Atos Digital, the tech arm of the French multinational IT service and consulting business. In the banking and financial services industries, Khanna has a track record of strategic and operational success.

Prior to his current post, Khanna served for 13 years as Chief Operating Officer, CEO, and President of Syntel before its acquisition by Atos earlier in the year. He also worked as Oracle’s head of product and corporate marketing for the better part of a decade, and was group manager at Tata Burroughs Limited. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) as well as a master’s degree in marketing management from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).

2. Nikki Mendonça

Mendonça maintains three decades of excellence in strategic and operational leadership. The visionary manages major media accounts at big name companies like Omnicom and Publicis. After earning a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish from the University of Wales, College of Cardiff, she pursued postgraduate study at Harvard Business School and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

In her position as Global Managing Director, Software & Platforms Practice at Accenture Song, Mendonça is responsible for driving marketing and sales growth for the company’s considerable software & platforms client portfolios.  

3. Alex Holt

Alex Holt is the Global Head for the multi-billion dollar Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice at KPMG. A seasoned executive with more than two decades of advisory experience in international business, Holt has been with KPMG since 2012. On top of that, Holt is also the Global Lead Partner for some of the largest tech companies in the world.

Before KPMG, Holt held executive positions in organizations across the technology, media, and telecommunications industries for more than a decade. He also currently serves on the board of the anti-poverty charity JobTrain, which for 50 years has helped Silicon Valley’s most in need reclaim their lives from poverty and unemployment by preparing them for successful, sustainable careers in high-demand and emerging fields. 

4. Ranjit Bawa

Ranjit Bawa is a Principal at Deloitte and currently leads the Cloud & Modern Engineering business. His teams offer businesses strong domain knowledge and skill in cloud native engineering so they may reimagine, create, and advance business and technological capabilities. Bawa has been helping to build and scale several technology-centric practices for Deloitte, most recently around cloud technologies.

5.Chandra Shukla

As an expert in creating digital products and methods for improving the efficiency of enterprises by using technologies from multiple disciplines, Shukla holds a Masters degree from the College of Engineering, University of Michigan. He has gone on to win multiple awards and titles within the tech industry, and has made a name for himself as a Michigan Engineering Alumni Board Member between the years 2020 to 2024. 

This tech mogul holds an armful of awards and accolades for his hard work across multiple platforms. Shukla is also the Co Founder of Market Krystal, a company that has identified the inefficiencies in the Chemical value chain and created a unique data driven decision making framework. This was the venture founded during 2017 when Shukla was grad student at University of Michigan when he developed a unique way to improve the efficiency in the area of chemicals.
