Native Paw Plants 500 Trees In Amazonia Through Paws For The Forest Campaign

Fort Lauderdale, FL - Native Paw, a manufacturer of natural pet products with ethically sourced ingredients, is pleased to announce that 500 trees have been planted in the Amazon rainforest through the company’s non-profit organization, Paws for the Forest.

Paws for the Forest went into 2022 with the goal to unite as many countries as possible, spread a message of reforestation awareness via social media, and through this digital campaign, was able to attract contributors from 40 different countries to achieve its goal of planting 500 trees.

Native Paw founder Gilberto Novaes states that this accomplishment is a testament to the company’s efforts to create a sustainable environment in which communities can come together to promote real and measurable change. “Our desire is to show the world that there is a way to join forces between men, animals, and nature to create a better world through sustainability and care for the environment,” Novaes says. “And we continue to generate value, sustainability, and connection between nature, humans, and animals.”

During its initial launch in 2022, Paws for the Forest saw an immediate reaction from its campaign. “Within the first two months of our social media campaign, Paws for the Forest became the largest reforestation pet community in the world,” Novaes reveals. “Creating this global reforestation community allows anyone to become involved in giving back to nature.”

For every photo that a Native Paw customer posted to the company’s Instagram page posing with their dog, the company would plant a tree - and also send the contributor a sample Native Paw product, all of which are created with natural ingredients ethically sourced in the rainforest itself.

“We wanted to find a way to introduce people to our products while also contributing toward the global good,” says Novaes. “We wanted to show that you can create a business with mindfulness and a focus on sustainability, leaving our world better than we found it.”

In 2023, Native Paw plans to extend the reach of its Paws for the Forest campaign, growing the community further. “This year we’ll be launching the Native Paw e-commerce site,” he reveals, “making our natural products available to customers worldwide. We’re excited about this - but primarily because the business will allow us to continue to fund the non-profit. We love dogs and want all pet owners to have access to quality natural products, and we stand behind our product line. At the same time, we intend to utilize the company’s revenue toward our continued reforestation goals.”

Paws for the Forest, created by Native Paw, is a non-profit organization that works to protect and conserve wildlife habitats, particularly in the Amazon rainforest. The organization aims to protect endangered species and their habitats through scientific research, education, and community engagement.
