Harivardan Jayaraman–Leader in the Applications and Tech Landscape

With over a decade of experience with building consumer and financial products, Harivardan Jayaraman is an experienced and well respected leader within the mobile application and tech webspace. Harivarden is the Head of Product (title: Group Product Manager) for Facebook Notifications building value driven products for 2B daily users. He sits at the intersection of machine learning and user-experience, building innovative products for users.

Before his time working with Meta, this industry mogul was in leadership positions at top of the line gaming companies, Kabam and Zynga. He was the Director of Product at Zynga focusing on Growth and Acquisition and built products across many beloved gaming franchises such as Word with Friends, CSR2, and many more. He helped with the launch of Words with Friends 2 back in 2018, and also built LTV models that predicted the value of a user in a game. Along with these, he also built marketing optimization products that allowed efficient allocation of currency in the correct games. He has helped evaluate Zynga’s M&A for all companies acquired between 2018 and 2020 and has helped with the launch of all games during that time frame. 

While working at Kabam, Harivardan worked to build products for users to engage with many beloved franchises, such as Star Wars and Marvel, creating one of the top 10 games on the App store. He built an innovative marketing optimization product that efficiently allocated marketing dollars in the appropriate marketing channel. This has assisted in bringing interested users to the games and platforms who pay money to use the products. 

Prior to working within the gaming industry, he was rooted in finance, working for companies such as Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank. At Goldman Sachs, he built pricing products to predict pricing for bonds. Then, during his time with Deutsche Bank in 2008, Harivarden worked with Mortgage-backed securities and built mortgage trading software. 

With so much talent in so many aspects, Harivardan Jayaramanhas been integral to the exponential growth of several companies. One of the biggest accomplishments he achieved while working with Deutsche bank was the development of an internal product that accurately predicted borrowers who were at risk of foreclosure and needed temporary monetary support so that the bank would not have to take over their houses. 

Many of these skills can be attributed to his Master’s in Computer Science from University of Texas at Austin.
