How Harivardan Jayaraman is Leading the Mobile Applications and Gaming Industry

Mobile games and applications are advancing rapidly with the rise of mobile technology. With the increasing popularity of smartphones, tablets, and other handheld devices, mobile gaming companies are becoming more innovative and are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible. With the help of modern technology, mobile game developers can now create complex, immersive experiences that can be enjoyed on the go, allowing users to stay connected to their favorite games no matter where they are. From interactive puzzles to action-packed adventures, mobile gaming has become a major part of our lives and is only continuing to become more advanced and exciting.

With over a ten years of experience with building consumer products, Harivardan Jayaraman is an experienced and well respected leader within the mobile application and tech webspace. Currently, he works as the Head of Product (title: Group Product Manager) for Facebook Notifications, building value driven products for 2B daily users, though previously he has been an integral part of the mobile application landscape. 

The mobile application and design industry has become an important part of tech advancements throughout the last few years. They are a great way for people to pass time and, for some, to even make money. Harivarden was in leadership positions at top of the line gaming companies, Kabam and Zynga, before he began his work for META. As the Director of Product at Zynga, he  focused on Growth and Acquisition, finding innovative ways to design and develop applications and features that would gather a wide audience. 

One of the most important aspects of the mobile application industry lately has been how companies can optimize gathering funds efficiently. Harivarden recognized this and worked to build marketing optimization products that allowed efficient allocation of currency in the correct games. He has helped evaluate Zynga’s M&A for all companies acquired between 2018 and 2020 and has helped with the launch of all games during that time frame. 

Much of his expertise when it comes to currency and money transactions comes from his notable background in finance. While working for companies such as Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, Harivardan maintained a deep well of knowledge on the financial vertical, which he carried into his other career paths.

Harivardan Jayaraman sits at the intersection of machine learning and user-experience, building innovative products for users. Many of these skills can be attributed to his Master’s in Computer Science from University of Texas at Austin.
