John Singson Speaks on Goons, Miss Universe, Peace, and the Present - Grandfather of Popular Real Estate Businessman Sponsored Pageant for $12M but “Declined to Buy It" 

No one knows where to begin when the Singson family is the topic. The Singsons are known for going all out with everything they do, both in and outside the political game. The larger than life, powerful family is also known for their utmost respect, but isn’t one to cross. Like most say, the unsinkable Singson family can be a colorful subject where the public will say that if one of them gets triggered, it’s best to hide because things won’t turn out well. It is well-known that the Singson family had several shootouts with their appointed personnel to take on their enemies in the past. Not to mention, its patriarch along with other family members travel in bomb-proof vehicles securing their safety.

But John says that there is nothing to worry about; these types of news can be tricky. John is always focused on his own journey growing his own real estate wealth in America to reach his multi-million-dollar goal in a short amount of time.

“Past is past. I am busy enough minding my own business. I can’t even keep up with my own self, I cannot have negativity distract me, I can’t let that get in the way. When I visit the Philippines, the Filipino people love me, and I bow to them because they are the future of our country. It’s always about peace and tranquility.” John is known for being independent and continues to make a footprint in the United States with his own name, making him one of the most remarkable and well-known Filipino businessmen in America. 

While John continues to be self-reliant with his own businesses, there are about twenty Singsons that are currently seated in the Philippine Government. The Filipino people say that this only means that they are doing something right, especially with providing jobs and great welfare. The Singson family had established many projects to help the public. “I am not sure why people are always intimidated by us. If we were that scary, then I wouldn’t have family members seated in the government for a very long time,” says John.

When John was asked on an interview at a known channel if they own the Miss Universe, he replied, “My grandfather declined to buy The Miss Universe due to its operations, I believe it’s about finding and hiring the right people. Time will tell. Let’s see.”

In the past, John’s grandfather Governor Chavit Singson brought the Miss Universe to the Philippines with a bill costing him an estimated $12 million. The event went well. All candidates were spoiled and were treated very well. The Singson family whole-heartedly welcomed all the contestants. Being on the yacht and private planes of Mr. Chavit Singson, they were able to travel and see the beauty of the country including a visit to Governor Singson’s own zoo safari. The candidates were also provided full protection by the government, which Mr. Singson arranged with President Rodrigo Duterte. Recently, the patriarch of the Singson clan had disclosed that he has been offered numerous times to own the Miss Universe franchise but declined to buy it due to its moving parts.
