Lauren Rosas begins uplifting community ‘The Artist Alchemist”
An online community that provides music industry resources and support for emerging artists.
The music scene can be a challenge for any artist. Not only can it be tough for those emerging, it’s also uncharted territory for many parents wanting to encourage their child’s dream; all while feeling satisfied with the professionalism they will receive from industry representatives.
Few know these stressors better than, Lauren Rosas. Musician, YouTuber , artist advocate and relative of 1970s studio musician "Rick the Bass Player Rosas” who throughout the decades, played alongside names such as Joe Walsh, Neil Young, Etta James and more.
“Despite us being related, I unfortunately never crossed paths with Rick, due to our families discovering each other shortly after his passing.” Rosas goes on to say, My aunt was really into genealogy and in her searching she discovered an entire side of our family we never met. Together, we all went Ricks celebration of life, where a concert was held in his honor. I never met Rick.. but I feel if he was alive today, he would be proud of the Artist alchemist.” It’s a place where artists can explore the referrals, consume motivational posts and resources provided. No negative referrals are ever posted . Companies also can pay to get on there. Simply products and services, I’ve experienced myself.
These referrals are open and free for people to explore and see if it’s good to use for themselves if they see fit. Referrals include, Facebook/IG/ Music marketing companies, PR companies, Talent Agencies for children and families and beyond, Billboard Companies, Music Producers, Trained Instrumentalists, Various, Choreographers, Recording Studios, Photographers and more.
Rosas will also be providing personal helpful tips and resources for artists like herself, living with physical or cognitive disabilities.
In 2022 Rosas was diagnosed with an undisclosed central nervous system disease. Those living with CNS diseases may experience a wide range of symptoms, depending on the specific condition. Many afflicted may have issues with movement, thinking, speech and memory. Despite the diagnosis, Lauren is in high spirits and says she’s receiving physical therapy and treatment. On a closing note she states, “I’m happy I’m feeling better currently. And Im ready to focus on this new fulfilling journey with the Artist Alchemist all while I work on my music.”
