MANHATTAN, NEW YORK –

Attending New York Fashion Week is every fashion connoisseur’s dream. Leo Li, an eighteen year-old college student, was in the middle of it all, sharing his love for la mode with various Hollywood stars.

Fashion week, a week-long series of exuberant shows and events, was begun as a method of showcasing designers’ creations through lively exhibits of their finest pieces. Today, fashion lovers from around the world travel to NYC to enjoy the amusements of the fashion week atmosphere, one characterized by interesting innovations, exciting exhibits, and most of all, lovely people.

Leo Li is one of those people. From XinJiang, China, the charming influencer traveled to the states when he was fourteen and attended high school in Jersey Shore. He now speaks Chinese and English. A long-standing passion for color and style lent him a big fascination with the unique look of designer clothes.

Li particularly savors his industry involvement in styling for models and friends, his social media platforms moving fashion followers with interesting photos of friends and famous alike. Today, the Manhattan, NYC-based social media trailblazer and model stylist has big ideas to further enter into the business of fashion, particularly as it relates to the runway.

And he’s not wasting any time, guaranteeing he stays at the center of it all.

Li was captured by Getty images on the Rooftop Terrace of Spring Studios in Tribeca. The event, Glam Slam: Session 3, an IMG models and Spring Studios occasion, was produced by FOCUS. It occurred to honor two of New York’s most loved and praised affairs, The US Open Tennis Championships and New York Fashion Week.

Li viewed a panel hosted, during which vogue figure Cynthia Rowley, Style of Sports Founder Claudia Lebenthal, and professional tennis player Alexandra Stevenson discussed the topics of tennis legends and fashion, targeting the intersection of sport and style in modern culture.

During the week, Li also met some of the world’s biggest fashion and film stars and sat at several shows, including Tom Ford, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Fendi, and Laquan Smith.

The Fendi show that Li attended brandished straight hairstyles to complement bright, neon colors. On Li’s page, images are shared of the models, Li in a busy audience, and some behind the scenes with a friend of Li’s.

Li is now making a brand of himself with mode styling and photography, and plans to do some modeling work in the near future. An influencer with many ideas, Li hopes to one day spread his specific view of fashion in every-day life by contributing his own, personal touch to the magazine covers of Vogue and Forbes.

“I think success is being able to do what you love and make a joyful living off of it” Li holds.

He has learned that entrepreneurship is about being willing to take big risks and work hard to achieve your goals and do what makes you happy. Li holds that, in order to get where one wants to go, one must have a positive demeanor and be willing to open up to new experiences and people.

Li attended New York Fashion Week in September of 2022.
