Sanguine Gem Stones To Expand Product Line

San Diego, CA - Ecommerce jewelry store Sanguine Gem Stones has announced that it will be expanding its product line throughout 2023. The retailer currently offers a large diamond collection of engagement rings, diamond bands, fashion rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and men's jewelry; soon the company will add two unique product lines, Sanguine Luxury Linens and Sanguine Gua Sha Stones; as well as a selection of accessories for both men and women.

The team at Sanguine feels that it’s important to continually offer more new varieties of merchandise in order to satisfy the evolving and changing tastes of customers. Along with both fine and fashion jewelry, Sanguine carries a line of giftable scented candles with scents like Seabreeze, designed for yoga or meditation; or lavender to promote relaxation.

The team at Sanguine is excited to be adding linens and Gua Sha stones to its product lineup. The company has the goal of capitalizing on the growth of ethically and responsibly sourced products, particularly diamonds. Industry growth is trending toward the rise of lab-grown diamonds, and modern shoppers - particularly millennials and Gen Z - demand socially conscious purchases.

Due to Sanguine Gem Stones being able to certify that all its diamonds are conflict-free, the company has already experienced significant growth, allowing them to brand out into other product categories. The team is pleased to offer its new line of luxury linens, launching soon, which will feature premium materials, modern designs, and quality craftsmanship to provide customers with a luxurious sleeping experience.

The release of the company’s line of Gua Sha stones is rooted in the fact that Sanguine is a female- and minority-owned business, founded by Asian American business partners Kay Chang, JenniVere Song Lee, and Lake Lui.

Gua Sha stones are tools used in traditional Chinese medicine for facial and body massage. These stones are usually made of jade, rose quartz, or other types of stones that have therapeutic properties. “During a Gua Sha massage, the stone is gently scraped across the skin in a specific pattern, which is believed to promote the flow of energy or "qi" in the body and stimulate blood circulation,” says Chang. “We plan to offer these stones to our customers to promote a whole-body line of luxury products. From the new linens to our fine jewelry to the Gua Sha stones and scented candles, we want to have a large selection of gifts and self-care items.”

Sanguine Gem Stones launched in February of 2023 with the goal of specializing in ethically sourced diamond jewelry. Every diamond in the company’s product catalog is either naturally mined or lab-grown. Kay Chang and JenniVere Song Lee both attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and were reunited years later at a fashion industry networking meetup in Los Angeles. When Chang and her business partner Lake Lui decided to launch Sanguine, they asked Song Lee to join as the Creative Director and Brand Manager of the company.

“Our motto is ‘Ethically Sourced Diamonds. Transcending the Future of Diamonds. Life is a Gem’,” says Song Lee. “We also like to say, ‘Be like a diamond: sparkling and unbreakable’. That’s who we are. As females and minorities that are also business owners, my partners and I have overcome many obstacles to reach the point where we are now.”

She adds that the company now proudly donates a portion of all sales to select nonprofit organizations which focus on providing underserved women around the world, offering them academic enrichment and support, and life skills instruction.
