Sanguine Gem Stones was founded by Kay and JenniVere, who met during their time at the Fashion Institute of Technology in their early twenties. After losing touch, they were reunited by chance at a fashion industry networking meetup in LA. JenniVere had since relocated from NYC to California to pursue a career as an actor, recording artist, and writer. Kay, along with her previous business partner Lake, invited JenniVere to join their venture as the Creative Director and Brand Manager of Sanguine Gem Stones.
